The Roanoke Valley SPCA Adoption and Education Center and the Regional Center for Animal Control and Protection have moved up the hill to a new building.

Stray and impounded animals are normally housed at the Regional Center for Animal Control and Protection located on Baldwin Avenue, NE around the corner from the old shelter.

There is a $20 pickup fee and $10.00 a day boarding fee for animals. 

Dogs picked up with a collar are held 10 days beginning with the day after they are picked up; dogs without collars are held 5 days.

Monday 11:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Tuesday 11:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Wednesday 11:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Thursday 11:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Friday 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Saturday 11:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
