The responsibility of the Botetourt County Animal Control Office is to enforce all state and local laws pertaining to domestic animals, investigate complaints of animal cruelty, provide emergency service for injured domestic animals and livestock, remove stray dogs and livestock from roads and public areas. Animal Control responds to EMERGENCY calls 24 hours a day.
